Faith in 3-D Dates January 13-16, 2012 We will probably leave during the late afternoon of
January 12 and will spend the night at a church on the way to
Location Walt Disney World!
What is Faith in 3-D?
Faith in 3-D is an event that occurs every three years and is hosted by
the PCUSA, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and the Cumberland
Presbyterian Church.
According to the website, “Faith
in 3D exists to invite young people of different faith groups to explore
our common faith in Jesus Christ through worship, education, and
community building.” The
youth will have the opportunity to meet new friends from all over the
country, worship, and hear some awesome Christian speakers.
They will also get to explore the Disney parks.

Price
The actual price for the trip is around $400, but I don’t want to any
more than I do for our annual ski trip.
So, the price per youth will be $200.
Each youth must be committed to participate in fundraising
activities. If the youth
really work hard, we can lower that price even more!
Commitment
Going to Faith in 3-D is an awesome opportunity, but it is also a
privilege. Therefore, the
youth must meet certain requirements to be able to go on the trip.
Also, if you want to bring a friend, they must meet all the
requirements, too!

You must attend 10 out of the 14 Sunday nights before the trip.
This includes “special” youth activities, such as community
ecumenical services, service projects, etc.

You must participate in all fundraising activities.
I am working on the list and will have them in a few days.

You must participate in one extra service project.

You must maintain good behavior during youth and youth activities
Fundraising
9/18-9/29 – Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Turn in money to Sarah by 9/29.
Doughnuts can be picked up on 10/2 from church.
You are responsible for distributing your doughnuts.
You must sell at least 10 boxes.
10/16 – There will be a lunch after church in the Centre.
Tickets are $6 adults/ $3 children.
You must sell at least 10 tickets.
10/16-10/24 – We will be selling Kripsy Kreme Coffee.
Deadlines
September 25 - $75 nonrefundable
deposit due to Sarah
October 23 - $125 nonrefundable
balance due to Sarah
*I know this doesn’t allow much time, but we just found out about this
opportunity.
